Andaz Hotel, London

It’s always a pleasure to work at the beautiful Andaz Hotel. When working in such an old building that has to mix the old with the new it’s always difficult to get the design options right but they came up with a brilliant choice for the meeting rooms in Wilton Kinetic. A stunning design with a huge pattern repeat that made it all the more interesting to install and the finish looks great. As you can see from the images the uplift of the old carpet does not always go to plan. On this occasion, we found that the underlay from the previous install had been stuck with the wrong adhesive and was stuck solid to the floor. Not a problem for team Selby even though we were on a tight schedule. we drafted in our specialist floor stripping machine and finished on time and budget.
